Consultations are only required for custom pieces, large designs, or cover-ups.
If you’re booking something small, script, or flash — you can go straight to scheduling. Consultations can be done in person or virtually and help lock down size, placement, and final details.

All appointments require a non-refundable $35 deposit to hold your spot. The deposit goes toward your total price and ensures your artist’s time is reserved.
If you reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, your deposit can transfer once. No-shows or same-day cancellations lose the deposit.

You can reschedule one time without losing your deposit. Anything after that will require a new booking and deposit.

Walk-ins are available Fridays (Flash Friday) and occasionally during open hours if time allows. Booking ahead is always the safest bet — appointments take priority.

You can bring one quiet guest for support if needed, but space is limited. Please don’t bring children, pets, or large groups.

Bring a valid photo ID, your remaining balance, and any reference images for your tattoo.
If you’re getting tattooed on an area that might be sensitive, feel free to bring headphones or something to distract you during the session.

You’ll get detailed aftercare instructions before leaving the studio, but here’s the short version:

• Keep it clean and lightly moisturized.

• Avoid soaking, scratching, or sun exposure.

• Wash gently with mild soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of fragrance-free ointment or balm.

Yes! Touch-ups are free within 60 days of your appointment (for healed tattoos only). After that window, small touch-ups may include a studio fee.

We love doing custom work. Book a consultation to talk through your ideas, reference images, and placement.
Once your deposit is in, your artist will begin creating your unique piece. You’ll get a preview before your session to make sure it’s perfect.

Every Friday, we offer small tattoos at discounted flat rates — $20 (1x1”), $40 (2x2”), and $60 (3x3”).
You can pick your own simple design, or bring a small idea you’ve always wanted.

No — you must be 18 or older with valid photo ID.
Even with parental consent, Texas law does not allow minors to receive tattoos at Opium Ink.
